Building things.
Understanding people.

My starting point was computer systems engineering. At Queen Mary University of London, I investigated how interface design affects human error. I then taught computing and contributed to collaborative research at King Abdulaziz University.

Building businesses brought those questions into daily practice: what customers choose, how people use products, and how founders learn when assumptions meet reality. That experience now shapes my interest in technology, entrepreneurship and human judgment.

Ideas, in practice.

Building, testing and learning from the choices people make.

Consumer digital product

Cookiva.

Founder & Product Lead
2026 to present

A simpler answer to “what should I cook?”

I’m developing a consumer cooking app, translating user feedback into decisions about onboarding, personalisation and everyday usefulness. The work brings product ideas into contact with real user needs.

Questions grounded
in evidence.

My research background spans human-computer interaction, human error and organisational technology adoption.

Where it began

MSc research · 2010

How can interface design help people remember the final step?

For my MSc dissertation, I developed three prototypes, ran pilot studies and a 24-participant HCI experiment, and analysed the results statistically. Supervised by Dr Paul Curzon, this work led to the 2012 publication on post-completion error.
